Overview

Local architectural firm Housing Studio has designed the ultimate outdoor living space for residents to host community social events. The space needed shelter and cover in order to be functional no matter what the weather. A tensile fabric canopy was the perfect solution.
 
To stay within budget, a 20' Sirocco was selected from Fabric Architecture’s Signature Structure range of products. The structure has clean organic lines and completes the modern feel of the outdoor living space. Steelwork colour was carefully selected in order to compliment the balconies of the surrounding buildings.
 
To keep in line with the developments ‘Eco’ theme, a white Silicone Coated Glass fabric was installed. This particular fabric can be completely recycled - it is made from woven strands of silicone and glass.  Not only will it last for 30+ years, but it offers 40% light transmission allowing the space to remain light and airy.
