Overview

Whilst completing the new ‘car-free’ accommodation at the University of Surrey’s Manor Park Campus, a requirement arose for shelters to cover the new state-of-the-art bike racks housing the student’s primary mode of transport.

Fabric Architecture worked closely with the main contractor Leadbitter to install two Classroom Signature Structures complete with galvanised steel framework and superior grade Solar Glass Weave fabric.  A slight modification took place to ensure a perfect fit for these structures and installation even took place above the already installed bike racks, proving that obstacles are never a problem for the expertly trained Fabric Architecture engineers.
