Overview

Having recently moved in to a new south facing classroom complex, teachers and pupils got virtually no shade from the small overhang at roof height. With construction complete, further disruption to the building was not an option, a free standing “brise soleil” solution was required. Enter the Hull Walkway… with six units joined together Fabric Architecture was able to cover the entire deck area in just 2 days, filtering the sun into the classrooms. Students can now enjoy their outdoor area, used for a multitude of activities from class sessions to play time.
