Overview

Having originally considered a polycarbonate canopy, the Architects and St Josephs School decided that fabric would offer much better shade and shelter for their playground. A canopy with minimal legs that would match with playground furniture and equipment was at the top of their list. Fabric Architecture adapted the 4m x 4m Stork, into 6m x 4m bays for this installation and by joining 3 bays of this modular design together, provided 72m2 of covered space with just 2 legs.
