Overview
A Skylar “fountain” was chosen to highlight the central water collection point at the Lascelles Allotment site in County Durham. Fabric Architecture worked closely with the Design Team to create a new product, combining several smaller Signature Structures into a larger public arts piece. With planting planned for tubs and borders it was important to include Solar Glass Weave fabric in the scheme, which permits UVA rays, allowing plants to photosynthesise.
