Overview

Fabric Architecture were contacted by main contractor Ogilvie Construction during they’re involvement at Falkirk High School.  The brief was to provide a shelter within a virtually enclosed courtyard of the school.

Following a few suggestions and discussions surrounding the style, shape and size of the structure required, the school selected a modified version of the Mistral Signature Structure. 

Having overcome a few obstacles during the installation, Fabric Architecture’s fully trained engineers completed the structure in July 2009.  The 11m x 8m structure finished with a white powder-coated steel frame and white PVC canopy met the elements of the design brief and provided the school with a beautiful bespoke structure to shelter students and teachers within the courtyard.
